Why leads feel like a tax
You’re not paying for a lead. You’re paying for someone else’s margin.
You have no idea what the lead actually cost.
A vendor buys traffic at one price and sells it to you at another, and the spread is the whole business. You are quoted a price, never a cost.
The vendor makes money whether the lead works or not.
Their revenue event is your purchase. Once you have paid, nothing about their business depends on whether the phone gets answered.
You inherit the compliance risk you can't see.
You rarely know where the lead came from, what the prospect actually agreed to, or whether there is a record of it if you ever have to prove consent.
Legacy Path Source
Your budget buys media. Your subscription buys everything else.
You set a weekly ad budget. We build and run exclusive advertisements, and route every lead into your workboard — itemised at cost, zero markup. Our margin is the subscription, nowhere else.

Leads arrive exclusive, verified, and itemised.
One agent per lead. Verified before delivery. Every lead carries its cost and its consent record.
What “at cost” means here.
You pay the ad spend exactly as the platform charged it, plus a short, published list of hard pass-through costs — lead routing, phone verification, and scrubbing. Nothing else. That list is public, fixed, and never changes without 30 days’ notice.

- Every pass-through cost itemised by name — no “management” or “processing” lines

Compliance built in
The consent record is attached to the lead. Not filed somewhere you’ll never find it.
Because we generate the lead, we control the form, the disclosure, and the record — and we hand all three to you.
Chain of Consent
Every lead retains its complete consent record, viewable from the lead card in one click.
- Timestamp and IP address of submission
- The exact disclosure language the prospect saw, captured word for word
- A copy of the form as it was presented
- The originating advertisement
- Retained and exportable for your file
Source Verified
Every lead passes the same gate before it ever reaches you.
- Live phone validation — the number is real and reachable
- Litigator scrubbing
- Do-not-call (DNC) scrub
- Duplicate check against your own book, and against clients already sold on the platform
- Advertisement-source confirmation
- Anything that fails is never delivered and never billed to you
You should be able to answer “where did this lead come from and what did they agree to?” in under ten seconds. On Legacy Path, you can.
Legacy Path provides consent documentation and verification tooling. Agents remain responsible for their own compliance with applicable law.
One system
The lead lands somewhere that already knows what to do with it.
A lead is only as good as what happens in the next four minutes. Every Source lead routes into a workboard with the follow-up already built — no imports, no copy-paste, no second system to babysit.
Lead workboard
Every lead arrives with its next step already assigned.
Integrated dialer
Call from the platform. Recordings, dispositions, and callbacks log themselves.
Speed-to-lead automation
Text and email fire the moment the lead lands, not when you get to it.
Approval packets
Customized packets mail to the client the moment they are approved — you do not lift a finger.
Underwriting tracker
Every pending application and what it is waiting on.
Wills and trusts
Estate planning under your brand — and a commission on every plan you place.
Book of business
Policies, renewals, and service work in one view.
Cost-per-policy reporting
What it cost to put a policy on the books, using your real spend.
What agents ask for next
Beyond the lead: commission, conversion, and placement.
Wills and trusts under your brand, budget that moves toward applications, and approval packets that mail themselves the moment a client is approved.
Estate planning that pays you
Wills and trusts, attorney-approved, offered under your own platform. Your clients get estate planning for well under what a law firm charges — and you earn a commission on every plan you place. Your final expense clients already need this; now you are the one who handles it, and you are paid for it.

Cheap leads and good leads are not the same thing. We track which advertisements and which states actually produce applications — not just form fills — and move your budget toward the ones that do. Every week. Most people optimize for cost per lead. We optimize for cost per application, because that is the number you get paid on.

The moment a client is approved, a customized approval packet is mailed directly to them. You do not have to do a single thing — no printing, no stuffing, no chasing the mail. With these packets, we have seen a 70% increase in placed policies. Automation handles the handoff so you stay on the next conversation.

Questions
The questions worth asking first
How do you make money if you don't mark up the leads?
The subscription. That's the whole answer. We're paid for the platform, the advertising work, and the support — not for how much you spend on ads. It means our revenue depends on you renewing, which means the leads have to actually work.
What exactly is included in “at cost”?
Ad spend you pay the ad platform directly — we never handle it. Lead processing at our published blended rate, and text messaging where it applies, both passed through at what we pay. Nothing else can appear on a Legacy Path bill. The complete list is public on our costs page and won't change without 30 days' notice.
How do I know you're not marking it up quietly?
Your ad spend is on the platform's own bill, not ours — that billing is the record. Open Ledger shows the blended rate we actually paid for lead processing, what we absorbed on screened-out leads, and every line on your statement. You can export it and reconcile it against your own records any time.
What does “exclusive” mean here?
The lead was generated by an advertisement running only for you, and it is delivered to one agent. It is not shared, not resold, and not offered to anyone else afterward. Exclusivity is per lead, not per person forever — if that same person independently responds to a different agent's advertisement months later, that is a new lead generated by their budget, not your lead being resold.
Will you sell my client to another agent?
No. Once a policy is sold, that person is permanently suppressed from delivery to anyone else. And if they fill out a lead form again, we send it to you as an alert rather than selling it — because a client who is shopping is something you should hear about the same day.
Do I have to contract through your agency?
No. Legacy Path is for licensed independent agents writing life and final expense. Many members hold their contracts elsewhere.
Who owns the leads and the advertising data?
You do. Export any time, including your full consent records.
Can I change or pause my ad budget?
Yes, any week. You're never locked into a spend level.
What happens if a lead is bad?
Anything that fails verification is never delivered and never billed. For anything that gets through, submit a credit request from the lead card against a published standard.
Can I cancel?
Yes. All plans are month-to-month.
You still own your business. We just build the road.
